I challenge you to find a cooler garden retailer than Seed Pantry. They are a brand-spanking new business who are keen to get urban gardeners growing, however small their garden or balcony. When I first saw their ultra-stylish products, I started to get very excited about what this means for balcony gardening. From veg patches to windowsills, balconies and backyards, Seed Pantry have carefully planned and selected seed varieties to provide urban growers with great crops of fresh seasonal herbs and vegetables in whatever space that can be spared.
So when Neil, the brains behind this great brand, got in touch to offer some Seed Pantry products to F&F readers, I was over the moon.
This month, five F&F readers will win a Mini Herb Pantry worth £14.45. This lovely kit includes seeds for basil, parsley, dill, coriander, chives and garlic chives, complete with detailed growing advice, a Seed Pantry pencil to make notes with, and a season of online tips and advice.
Entering is easy peasy. All you have to do is answer this question:
How many weeks does it take before you can harvest coriander?
(Tip: the Seed Pantry website may well give you the answer…)
Email answers to competitions@fennelandfern.co.uk before 5 February. So you’ve got plenty of time. We will sign you up to the Seed Pantry email newsletter as well, and the answer and winners’ names will be revealed in its next issue.
