Sarah, who writes the Fresh Gardener posts, is away on honeymoon at the moment, so I decided to embarrass her a little by showing some shots of her stylish wedding.
What has this got to do with gardening? Well, one of the many very stylish and lovely things about this wedding is that each guest received a seedling native tree as a favour when they sat down. Until now, I’ve always forgotten to take my favours home with me after a wedding, but I carried this tenderly all the way back on the train from the West Country to Hampshire.
Everyone was completely enchanted by such a thoughtful, sustainable little gift, which I later found here. Congratulations Sarah!
