I’ll be honest from the very start: I am rubbish at presents, especially Christmas presents. This probably means I am a terrible person, an awful friend and a despicable daughter. Normally I charge around the shops late on Christmas eve, or order presents on the internet which have no hope of arriving before the new year has begun.
Fortunately I have a husband whose family have most of their Christmas presents organised by late October, and so this year, he set about putting some of the snaps that I’ve taken for Fennel & Fern onto notecards which we’ll be giving to a couple of our relatives.
Tres joli, non? At least it means we’ll be receiving some pretty stylishly photographed thank you cards in the post in January. They may even thank me for giving a present on time, rather than my usual sheepish look and a promise that it’s “in the post”…
I ordered these cards from Bonusprint, and the cards came to about 50p per card, which was rather pleasing. In case you fancy making your own simple F&F-themed Christmas present, you can download all the images I used for the cards here for free. If you want to say thank you for the use of my pictures rights-free, you can make a donation to World Vision here, thus making your present simple and life-changing at the same time.
