Vertical gardens are normally expensive undertakings, but there are some tricks that you can use to obtain plant coverage, such as using trailing plants. I used one of my Woolly Pockets to plant three trailing lotuses, creeping geebung Persoonia chamaepitys, and kangaroo paws. At the base I planted rosemaries, which you can see in flower here. I’m finding that Australian plants that require good drainage such as banksia and grevilleas are thriving in these pockets. You can write your own blogpost for Fennel & Fern.
