HomeBeautiful GardensThe loveliest spring garden Beautiful spring flowers on display at Pann Mill. I’ve already written about how much I love the garden at Pann Mill. But it really is at its best in the spring, when the beds are just full of the brightest tulips. This is one of the best examples of primary colour plantings that look really, really magical, in the dappled sunlight under blossom trees. And there are all sorts of sweet little plants asking for more attention. Like this bank of grape hyacinths by the millstream: Or these hellebores, just starting to age as they do so gracefully: Or these Ipheion flowers: Or this grand colour combination: You can understand why it’s difficult not to love this place. It’s like another world.
