Isn’t this back garden, lovingly tended by a friend of mine, superb?
What I love the most about it is that it has a great mix of leaf patterns and relies predominantly on a green texture rather than a mix of flowers. The best leaves are those of the ferns, the fatsia, the actinidia and the lady’s mantle. It’s not a perfect garden, but it’s jolly clever.
