HomeblogThe rhubarb gets going Not much going on at the allotment at the moment, other than the odd bit of desultory tidying. But when I did pitch up this week to stand the water butt upright so it collects some of the rain, and poke about a bit, look what I found: Glorious, hot pink-and-flourescent-yellow rhubarb buds. Just what the doctor ordered as a cheery sign of what’s to come. Oh, and if you need any reminder of what is to come, how about rhubarb porridge, rhubarb champagne cocktail or rhubarb sweet pizza?
