Cheery wallflowers

Let’s face it: this weather is just dreadful. We’re all miserable and fully confirmed in our belief that January probably should have been banned a long time ago. But there is just one thing that’s cheering me up no end. It’s this little collection of wallflowers in my balcony railing planter, which are glowing like jewels even in this miserable rain:
