Callicarpa bodinieri var. giraldii ‘Profusion’, or the beauty berry, is one of the most stunning berry bushes you’ll ever find, with bright purple fruits.
I challenge you to find a berry more knockout stunning than the beauty berry, or Callicarpa. It’s s pretty, it deserves to go on the front cover of Vogue, and needs no airbrushing. It is a real stunner. This will make the best impact I can imagine in an autumn garden, and it’s going to get a star role in my own dream garden.

It’s a slow-grower, but can read 10ft when it’s done. And it prefers a sunny or part-shaded spot in reasonable soil. And for that minimal effort, you’ll hit the berry jackpot every autumn.
