It’s European pear rust, which is a fungus affecting pears and junipers. It needs both to complete its lifecycle, and while I can’t see any of the latter in the gardens nearby, the affected leaves aren’t something I can ignore. I’m removing them and destroying them, not putting them in my compost heap.
