HomeblogWin: The RHS Companion to Scented Plants This beautiful guide to fragrant flowers and foliage is one of those must-reads - and you can win it. This is a truly lovely book, and now is a truly good time to be reading it. The RHS Companion to Scented Plants, published by Frances Lincoln, doesn’t just teach you about beautifully-perfumed flowers, but foliage and bark too. It helps you plan a scented garden - and in the autumn and winter appealing to every sense is so important when there just aren’t as many flowers around. It is a beautifully-illustrated book, as you’d expect when Andrew Lawson is providing the photography. And it takes you away from the usual scented suspects (although the rose section really is excellent and contains a number of roses that we at F&F can personally vouch for) and introduces you to all sorts of unusual flowers, as well as reminding you that foliage has a big part to play in perfuming your plot. So we’re very pleased that one very lucky F&F reader can win a copy of this book. We’re running the competition on Facebook this time, and all you need to do is hop over there now and share this post to your friends before 12 November.
