Try as I might, I find it more difficult to motivate myself to do the fiddly sort of gardening I enjoy in the summer. So as I’m planting up my autumn pots, I’m also making sure that they’ll serve me in spring too, so that I don’t have to bother with lots of lugging and repositioning of pots with different flowers in them. First, I’m popping in the spring layer: These are Narcissus ‘Cheerfulness White’ from Plant Me Now. They will cheer me every spring morning when all still seems grey. And these are part of the autumn shift. These are violas, also from Plant Me Now’s winter bedding range, and they will flower throughout the autumn and winter.
