This cutting garden journal is beautiful but practical. It takes you through the year and through all the tasks you’ll need to do at certain times of the year to ensure a steady flow of flowers. So there are recommendations on what to grow, practical photo-illustrated guides on plant care, such as pricking out seedlings and taking semi-ripe cuttings, and checklists each month.

My resolution is to teach my daughters about the joys of gardening. We have a very large, very over-grown garden that desperately needs attention and this year my little people and I are going to turn it from an ugly jungle-like space into an area to be proud of. We are hoping to cover it in a riot of colourful flowers, sweet smelling herbs and luscious leaves.
