Nice nesting box

Put up a pretty cabin bird house for National Nesting Box Week.

It’s National Nesting Box Week at the moment, and so at F&F we’re making sure that we have plenty of lovely clean nest boxes ready for the birds that keep us so happy with their singing and fluttering around the garden. This is a fun stylish little box that we’ve put on the shed. We got it from Greenhouse Sensation.

It is beautifully-made with a lovely curving roof. But it’s also rather clever as you can remove the ring in the centre to make the door bigger for other nesting birds:

We like the way this completes our cheerful shed in the garden. Our plan is to add a lot of nesting boxes this week, and then every National Nesting Box Week in years to come will see at least one new box go up in the garden, as well as the existing ones getting a clean so that birds want to use them.
