I’m incredibly excited to introduce three lovely shiny new members of the F&F team to you today. These three writers will be contributing monthly blogs on their passion for certain areas of gardening, and they are a fabulous bunch.
Kathy Brown is a garden designer, writer and lecturer and opens her own 4.5acre garden to the public. Her special interests are cottage gardening, containers, bulbs, clematis, edible flowers, historical gardens, Kitsch gardening and art. She will be writing the monthly ‘Design Expert’ series, starting with profiles of her stunning garden this weekend.

Sarah Beer is a graduate who works at a healthy living centre and is interested in nutrition. She is a brand-spanking-new beginner gardener, and she will be writing a monthly blog on her experiences of growing vegetables for the first time in her Devon garden.

Ryan Lewis writes the popular blog Ryan’s Garden. He has always been fascinated by plants, and will be blogging on the rare and unusual species you can grow in this country.
It is a real honour to have these three lovely people joining the team, and you’ll be pleased to know that their blogs for January are super-duper. They join Debbie, Susan and Chris on the blog, and if you want to find out more about these lovely people, then visit our about us page.
We have sadly said goodbye to the wonderful Jill Coleman, who wrote the Community Garden blog. Excitingly, Jill has taken up a new role at Groundwork which means she has left the New Routes community garden. She made a fabulous contribution to the blog, and I was really sad to say goodbye, although she really deserves her new job as she is a top person.
So that’s the latest news from F&F. I’m really, really privileged to work with this team, and can’t wait to see how their blogs develop over the year.
