Throw together some stunning edible flowers and herbs in this glorious stir fry.
One of my favourite recipes from my Greens of Devon box was a nasturtium stir fry, which really was something I just threw together at the last minute.
It was marvellous. I used all the nasturtiums from the box, and all the nasturtium leaves as well as the orache, amaranth and other herbs.
I cooked chicken and vegetables in a sweet and sour sauce. I didn’t throw in the flowers and herbs until plating up.
And here we are:
The spicy, peppery nasturtium leaves and their flowers are the real stars of this, but the herbs are wonderful too. This was the most flavoursome, texture-filled - and impressive-yet-super-easy recipe I’ve ever thrown together at the last minute.
